Sales Associate/Cashier in Onalaska, TX

It was the best job out of the 3 I've had. My managers were pretty good. Even tho one of them was kind of rude. My coworkers were cool but old. Just wish the pay was more and I would've stayed

this job is perfect if your looking for something part-time. Very flexible with hours and the management is very nice. You also get discounts on stuff in the store.

Horrible job experience. They don't care about anybody, no work-life balance. I was made to work during the pandemic with the temperature of 101 working 8 10 12+ hour shifts with no break. Made to cancel mine and my husband's doctor's appointments and physical therapy, which I originally scheduled around my work schedule and then treated worse than I already was being treated when I refused to cancel my children's doctor's appointments. And that's just the beginning of it, you're not even treated like a human there. And after I got done I tried to call HR just to tell them what all is going on, especially at that location, and I was hung up on. Giving some benefit of the doubt maybe the call was dropped on their end on accident, however I was never reached out to or contacted about the situation again statements were even sent the ladder.

My manager is pretty cool. She always says how much she appreciates us. The bad part is they're open on holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas eve all day.

Store Associate in Bagley, MN

My experience working at Dollar General was terrible. There's not enough staff on to effectively man the till and stock the shelves. The carts of merchandise lining the aisles make it hard for customers to reach what they want. Co-workers at this location could care less about teamwork. The overall atmosphere was constant stress, and they don't work with you regarding wants and needs as far as scheduling.
